A Short History
Over the last couple years God has done a mighty work within our church. We have seen the goodness of God, His kindness, and His grace. We have also witnessed the faithfulness of God in many answered prayers, miracles, and salvations. God has begun to move within our congregation with an expansion of artistic ministry and greater proclamation of the gospel. Inside of all of this, He gave us a new vision for what He is doing and a mission to pursue. Out of this came our new name - Bezalel Christian Church (formerly known as Wooded Hills Church). We hope you join us to pursue His Kingdom, His way and lean into the new things He is calling us to.

Is. 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness, and streams in the wasteland.
BACKGROUND OF BEZALEL
We named our Church after Bezalel, the artist who constructed the tabernacle and the ark of the covenant. Like Bezalel it is our heart to prepare a place to meet with the Lord and to see His kingdom in every area of life. Scripture also records Bezalel to be the first person filled with the Holy Spirit. In accordance with Scripture, we encourage one another to fan into flame all of the gifts of God’s Spirit, in order to serve one another and disciple the nations.
Bezalel means “Under the Shadow of the Almighty,” referring to God’s protection of those who draw close, His sovereign rulership, and our reflection of His light and glory. As a person, Bezalel exemplifies the importance of partnering with the Holy Spirit, leaning into your creativity, celebrating family, and how worship prepares us to move into the promises of God.

“See, I have called by name Bezalel… And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship” (Exodus 31:2-3)
